I provided this primary bedroom suite conversion idea (and the photography!) for a local investor who was scrambling for direction on what to do with this early 20th century home. A little visual help goes a long way!
Vaulted ceilings and a large open space replaces formerly confined wall partitioning. The barn door leads to the bathroom which was previously an antiquated and low quality “bedroom” space, emphasis on quotations.
This conversion greatly improves the utility of the home. The previously antiquated floor-plan within this 1/2-story level was fraught with layout issues. I had to reason with the owner to eliminate the useless nature of an “added” bedroom space in favor of the top-floor suite idea. It will pay dividends for market appeal.
The finishes were picked by the owner in order to provide a custom appeal at an affordable price. This project greatly improves rent potentiality to what was otherwise a drab and defunct layout.
